The Katrien wooden cat scratching post suar wood 2 meter is our tallest and most impressive spiral staircase wooden cat scratching post. Seven landings of 35 to 40 cm wind up like a rotating staircase along the twisting trunk — at a height of two meters there is more than enough space even for the most ambitious climber.

That rotating setup is at the heart of the Katrien wooden cat scratching post suar wood 2 meter. Each berth is positioned at a different position along the axis of the stem, allowing your cat to move up naturally. Rotate, stretch, climb — the Katrien follows the cat’s movement rather than forcing it to adapt. Seven levels of pure climbing pleasure.

Seven berths of 35 to 40 cm — large enough for an adult cat to rest fully stretched out. For large breeds such as Maine Coons or Norwegian Forest Cats, the Katrien 2m offers exactly the combination of height, space and comfort they need.

The pole is made of solid wood suar wood, hand-selected and finished in our workshop in Westerlo. The rotating stem is one piece of wood — no assembly of separate parts. It Suar wood is heavy and dense; the wide base keeps everything stable even when your cat is spinning the spiral at full speed.

Each Katrien is unique. The wood grain follows the twist of the trunk in a way that you can never fully predict. No two poles are identical — that is what solid wood does. Read more about the properties of suar wood in our blog article about crab suar wood poles.

Configure the Katrien 2m to suit your needs completely: a hemp rope, a cushion, a donut bed or a teak wood bowl. Everything can be selected separately.
