De Katrien 1.80m is de grote zus van de Katrien 1.50m — meer hoogte, een extra ligplaats, en dezelfde draaiende stam die dit model zo uniek maakt. Zes ligplaatsen van 35 op 40 cm winden zich als een spiraalvormige trap omhoog langs de twistende stam. Op 180 cm heeft de Katrien genoeg hoogte voor de echte klimmer die pas tevreden is als hij helemaal bovenaan zit.
Die draaiende opstelling is ergonomisch doordacht. Elke ligplaats ligt op een andere positie langs de as van de stam, waardoor je kat op een natuurlijke manier omhoog beweegt — draaien, strekken, klimmen. De Katrien volgt de beweging van de kat in plaats van de kat te dwingen zich aan te passen. Op 180 cm betekent dat zes niveaus van pure klimvreugde.
Zes ligplaatsen van 35 op 40 cm — groot genoeg voor een volwassen kat om volledig uitgestrekt te rusten. Voor grote rassen zoals Maine Coons of Noorse Boskatten biedt de Katrien 1.80 m precies de combinatie van hoogte en comfort die ze nodig hebben.
De Katrien 1.80 m is gemaakt van massief suarhout, met de hand geselecteerd en afgewerkt in ons atelier in Westerlo. De draaiende stam is één stuk hout — geen opbouw van losse delen. Suarhout is zwaar en dicht, de brede voet houdt alles stabiel, ook als je kat de spiraal op volle snelheid neemt.
Elke Katrien is uniek. De houtnerf volgt de twist van de stam op een manier die je nooit volledig kan voorspellen. Geen twee palen zijn identiek.
Configureer de Katrien 1.80 m volledig naar jouw wens: henneptouw, een kussen, een donut bed of een teakhout schaaltje. Alles is apart te kiezen.

Items are always checked for shipment by us. Should there be any defects or damage upon arrival with the customer, we will assess whether this damage is due to transportation or is caused by a manufacturing defect. In the latter case, an item can be repaired or exchanged. If you discover damage after delivery, photos of the problem should be sent to Catznwood. This will provide an estimate of the problem so that a solution can be found. Wood furniture is usually handmade and may sometimes differ slightly from models and drawings. Wood is sensitive to significant fluctuations in humidity. Although the wood is carefully dried, it may still warp (small cracks or slight warping). This applies to all wooden furniture, regardless of the store that delivered it. Please take this into account if you choose to do so. Catznwood does not provide any warranty on this matter. We do not provide a guarantee for damage caused by frost in combination with moisture.
The customer cannot rely on the warranty provisions in the following cases:
- if there is any effect of the wood
- if there is evidence of negligence on the part of the customer,
- if the installation or assembly of the furniture was/are carried out in an unskilled manner,
- if the customer has made changes to the products or had them made by third parties (e.g. repairs that were not carried out in consultation with Catzwood)
- in case of careless or negligent use,
- in case of damage caused by the action of moisture or other external causes or failure to repair,
- if the product has not been maintained or installed in accordance with the usual recommended method,
