The Babette has been one of our most popular models for 8 years now and for good reason. This is the wooden cat scratching post one we have refined the most over the years, each time based on what cats really need. The result is a product that is exactly right: 150 cm high, 5 recessed sleeping areas of 35 by 40 cm and the same wide, stable base as our Baron.

The staggered arrangement of the litter boxes is no coincidence. By placing them alternately on both sides of the pole, your cat can climb up smoothly, from level to level. No big jumps, no uncertain crossings. Just a natural climbing route that matches the cat’s instinct.

Five berths of 35 by 40 cm are large enough for an adult cat to rest fully stretched out. Whether you have one cat that claims all the levels for herself, or multiple cats that each seek their own space — the Babette offers space for both.

The Babette is made of solid wood suar wood, hand-selected and finished in our workshop in Westerlo. It Suar wood is heavy, dense and durable. The wide base ensures maximum stability, even when your cat is flying off it at full speed. And because it is solid wood, the Babette will last for years without sagging or wobbling.

Every Babette is unique. The wood grain, the color variations, the small natural irregularities – that’s not a flaw; that’s what real wood does. No two poles are identical.

Configure the Babette to your liking: a hemp rope, a cushion, a donut bed or a teak wood bowl. Everything can be selected and customized separately.

Items are always checked for shipment by us. Should there be any defects or damage upon arrival with the customer, we will assess whether this damage is due to transportation or is caused by a manufacturing defect. In the latter case, an item can be repaired or exchanged. If you discover damage after delivery, photos of the problem should be sent to Catznwood. This will provide an estimate of the problem so that a solution can be found. Wood furniture is usually handmade and may sometimes differ slightly from models and drawings. Wood is sensitive to significant fluctuations in humidity. Although the wood is carefully dried, it may still warp (small cracks or slight warping). This applies to all wooden furniture, regardless of the store that delivered it. Please take this into account if you choose to do so. Catznwood does not provide any warranty on this matter. We do not provide a guarantee for damage caused by frost in combination with moisture.

The customer cannot rely on the warranty provisions in the following cases:

if there is any effect of the wood
if there is evidence of negligence on the part of the customer,
if the installation or assembly of the furniture was/are carried out in an unskilled manner,
if the customer has made changes to the products or had them made by third parties (e.g. repairs that were not carried out in consultation with Catzwood)
in case of careless or negligent use,
in case of damage caused by the action of moisture or other external causes or failure to repair,
if the product has not been maintained or installed in accordance with the usual recommended method,
