Our bestseller Babette wooden cat scratching post — already a public favorite for 8 years suar wood — is now also available in 100% solid wood teak wood. Suitable for outdoor use because teak wood it is more durable and weatherproof than the suar wood. Same reliable construction: 150 cm high, 5 staggered berths of 35 by 40 cm and the same wide, stable base.

The crenellated berths are the heart of the Babette. By placing them alternately on both sides of the pole, your cat climbs smoothly upwards — level by level, without any big jumps. A natural climbing route that matches the cat’s instinct, regardless of the type of wood.

Teak wood It is one of the hardest and densest tropical wood species. It naturally contains resins and oils that make it resistant to moisture and temperature changes — without you having to do anything about it every season. The wide base combines with the weight of the teak for stability that you feel the moment you touch the pole.

Five berths of 35 by 40 cm — large enough for an adult cat to rest fully stretched out. Whether you have one cat occupying all the levels, or several cats seeking their own space — the Babette offers space for both.

Each Babette teak wood is unique. The smooth wood grain of teak has a different appearance than suar wood — calmer, more even, with a warm golden brown tint that becomes more beautiful with age. No two poles are identical.
