The Katrien 1.80m is the big sister of the Katrien 1.50m — more height, an extra berth, and the same rotating stem that makes this model so unique. Six berths of 35 by 40 cm wind up like a spiral staircase along the twisting stem. At 180 cm, the Katrien has enough height for the true climber who is only satisfied when he is all the way at the top.
This rotating setup is ergonomically designed. Each bed is positioned at a different position along the axis of the frame, allowing your cat to move up naturally — turning, stretching, climbing. The Katrien follows the cat’s movement rather than forcing it to adapt. At 180 cm, that means six levels of pure climbing fun.
Six berths of 35 to 40 cm — large enough for an adult cat to rest fully stretched out. For large breeds such as Maine Coons or Norwegian Forest Cats, the Katrien 1.80 m offers exactly the combination of height and comfort they need.
The Katrien 1.80 m is made of solid wood suar wood, hand-selected and finished in our workshop in Westerlo. The rotating stem is one piece of wood — no assembly of separate parts. It Suar wood is heavy and dense; the wide foot holds everything stable, even when your cat is spinning at full speed.
Each Katrien is unique. The wood grain follows the twist of the trunk in a way that you can never completely predict. No two poles are identical.
Configure the Katrien 1.80 m to your liking: a hammock, a pillow, a donut bed or a teak wood bowl. Everything can be chosen separately.

Terms and conditions
Items are always checked for shipment by us. Should there be any defects or damage upon arrival with the customer, we will assess whether this damage is due to transportation or is caused by a manufacturing defect. In the latter case, an item can be repaired or exchanged. If you discover damage after delivery, photos of the problem should be sent to Catznwood. This will provide an estimate of the problem so that a solution can be found. Wood furniture is usually handmade and may sometimes differ slightly from models and drawings. Wood is sensitive to significant fluctuations in humidity. Although the wood is carefully dried, it may still warp (small cracks or slight warping). This applies to all wooden furniture, regardless of the store that delivered it. Please take this into account if you choose to do so. Catznwood does not provide any warranty on this matter. We do not provide a guarantee for damage caused by frost in combination with moisture.
The customer cannot rely on the warranty provisions in the following cases:
- if there is any effect of the wood
- if there is evidence of negligence on the part of the customer,
- if the installation or assembly of the furniture was/are carried out in an unskilled manner,
- if the customer has made changes to the products or had them made by third parties (e.g. repairs that were not carried out in consultation with Catzwood)
- in case of careless or negligent use,
- in case of damage caused by the action of moisture or other external causes or failure to repair,
- if the product has not been maintained or installed in accordance with the usual recommended method,
