The Hugo cat scratching post suar wood 150cm has something most scratching posts do not — rectangular platforms of 50 x 30cm. That dimension is a deliberate choice. Fifty centimetres wide gives a large cat the room to rest comfortably, while the depth of 30cm keeps the post compact and stable. Five of those platforms, staggered on either side of the post.

The rectangular shape of the platforms gives the Hugo its own character — cleaner and more modern than the more square platforms of other models. A scratching post that belongs in a well-kept interior while fully meeting everything a cat needs.

The Hugo is made from solid suar wood, hand-selected and finished in our workshop in Westerlo. Suar is heavy and dense — the wide base keeps everything stable even when a heavy cat uses the post the way it was meant to be used. Every Hugo is unique. The wood grain, the colour variations, the small natural irregularities — no two posts are ever identical.
